Engines for the 2020 Ford Escape

Three engines can power the 2020 Ford Escape. The standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost has Auto Start-Stop Tech to increase fuel efficiency. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine tows up to 3,500 pounds when you include the Class II Trailer Tow Package. And the hybrid 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle I4 and its 88 kW electric motor help soothe the environment.

Interior Tech Highlights

Keep your eye on the road with the 2020 Ford Escape when the available Head-Up Display presents important info directly in front of you instead of on the instrument panel. It clues you into incoming calls, navigation, and driver-assist features. SYNC® 3 technology lets you place phone calls using the dashboard screen.

Top Trim Options

The 2020 Ford Escape is available in such trims as the S at the start, the SE, SE Sport Hybrid, and SEL in the middle, and the Titanium at the top. The titanium gets FordPass Connect™, the top-quality sound system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, Adaptive Cruise control with Stop-and-Go, and Lane Centering.

Safety First

When discerning buyers come to Glockner Ford looking for a safe family vehicle, we like to point out that the 2020 Ford Escape has received Five-Star Overall Safety Ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration from 2017 to 2019. In 2017, the vehicle was dubbed the winner of the Compact SUV Challenge from Cars.com.
